White Mountains in Blue
An very strong high pressure ridge was overhead in the White Mountains, which rarely allows for good images. This particular system however pushed low level haze and smoke far down into the valleys, and kept clear air above 3500 feet of elevation. The thickness of the haze, and the refraction of the light entering it, created a most unique day in the mountains.
